Msx Panasonic Turbo R ST

MSX is a series of home computers launched by ASCII Corporation in collaboration with Microsoft. They first appeared in autumn 1983 as an attempt to establish unified standards among computer hardware manufacturers. MSX computers were produced by numerous Japanese companies as Panasonic, Sony, Casio, Sanyo or Toshiba.

The MSX name is often interpreted as "MicroSoft eXtended", but according to Kazuhiko Nishi, the project initiator, the intended meaning of the "MSX" abbreviation is "Machines with Software eXchangeability".
